Gulfstream Park had an exciting weekend, October 7-8th.
Saturday’s Miss Gracie Stakes was won by Time Passage (1.4:1).
The favorite Coco finished 4th. Three Witches (10:1) took the $200,000 Princess Rooney Invitational. MaryQuiteContrary (1.4:1) got the place as the race time favorite.
Also Saturday, the Rainbow 6 Jackpot was hit for $28,990.06 to a single winner. That comes after another Rainbow 6 jackpot paid out Friday, as reported here, for $213,992.18. That’s fairly rare at Gulfstream Park, ocurring a handful of times since 2015. A three in a row did also occur in October, 2018.
No race-time favorites won on Saturday, and the last 2 race winners were 10:1 and 24:1, which made the wager more difficult.
Sunday’s racing paid out $2,099.66 on the Rainbow 6 to 11 winners. The carryover for this Friday, 10/13 will be $9,898.
