One stakes race is planned; the Proud Man, a $65,000 six-furlong jaunt on the dirt track for 2-year-olds. The field of 8 is favored by Divieto, at 5:2 morning line odds. It’s planned at race #9 with a 4:47 PM post time.
The Rainbow 6 wager is the sole carryover Saturday at $284,564, and will get underway with race #5 near 2:50 p.m. Gulfstream is setting a $375,000 gross pool guarantee if the wagering does not reach that amount…and…a single winner exists.
On Friday, 5 of 6 paid $530.58 to about 50 winners. An oddity in that no favorites won on Friday.
The winning Rainbow 6 program #’s: 6-5-1-3-2-1.
Total all-sources track handle was $3.06 million Friday.
