Just two favorites won on the day, and none in the last 6 races, affecting the Late Exotic bets (Pick-4, Pick-5 and Rainbow 6. The long-odds winner Saturday was Baby Billie at 9.5:1 by a head in the 3 year-old maiden claimer in race 8.
Gulfstream is putting out a $800,000 guarantee gross pool for Sunday if one winner is found. Since the carryover is now almost $600,000, that would mean about a $200,000 betting pool Sunday on the Rainbow 6 before Gulfstream would open their purse for the difference.
Total all-sources track handle was a whopping $16.04 million Saturday. Total purse on the day was $729,000.
