One stakes race will be run in race 4; The Sharp Susan Stakes, a field of 6, five and 1/2 furlongs on the all-weather-track and a $65,000 purse. It’s a 2 year-old fillies race with Gemma’s Curls is the morning line favorite at 9:5. This stakes race will post at about 1:58 PM. All entries except #1 post Gratia have logged a win in the last race or next to last race; all at Gulfstream Park in May, June or July. Jellybean, at 5:2 odds could be a contender also.
The Rainbow 6 wager is the sole caryover Saturday, at $27,165. The Rainbow 6 wager paid $1,190.76 in Friday’s racing action. As of 10:00 PM Friday eve., the Pool and daily track handle for Gulfstream was unavailable.
Race 7 will start the Rainbow 6 wagering near 3:37 PM Saturday.
