Three horses that have won stakes races in Florida this year head the field for Saturday’s $1 million Florida Derby (Grade 1).
Those horses are Classic Causeway, White Abarrio and Simplification. They head a field of eleven horses that are entered for Saturday’s running of the Florida Derby.
They were among the eleven 3-year-olds that on Wednesday were entered for the 1-1/8 mile dirt stakes. Here are the draw results and post positions:
