Gulfstream Park will run nine races on Friday, with first post at 1:05 p.m.
The only carryover is on the Rainbow 6, at $47,901. The 20 cents per combination-only bet is on races four to nine, with the sequence scheduled too start at 2:35 p.m.
Gulfstream is guaranteeing that today’s Rainbow 6 will have a $150,000 gross pool of the entire coming in carryover plus all of today’s Rainbow 6 bets – to be paid if there is just one ticket with the winners of all six Rainbow 6 races.
If there are multiple tickets with all six winning horses, Gulfstream will take out 20 percent, then divide 56 percent among tickets with six winners and add 24 percent to the carryover.
On Thursday, 69 winners collected $925.66 each on this wager. Race 9 was the long-odds trip with the 10:1 winner Stand Up. The favorite finished 7th. Three favorites won in the Rainbow races.
Gulfstream began a new Rainbow 6 pool on Wednesday as the jackpot was hit last Sunday.
Betting on the Rainbow 6 was $114,354, while all sources track handle was $6.43 million.
