Gulfstream Park will open this week’s racing today with a 10-race card and first post time of 12:30 PM.
With few exeptions, the Championship meet will race 5 days a week (Wednesday through Sunday) until the meet ends in early April.
No stakes races are planned today.
In Sunday’s racing action, 56 starters competed in the last 6 races (Rainbow-6), and 13 winners of that wager each collected $6,391.40. The Rainbow 6 carryover today sits at $116,976 as it enters day 5 of this wager’s last jackpot payout on November 20th.
Race 5 kicks off the Rainbow 6 sequence, slated to start at approximately 2:28 PM.
Starting this meet, Gulfstream’s horses now race on three surfaces: Dirt, Turf, and Tapeta; the artificial ALL WEATHER TRACK (AWT). Races 8 and 9 today will run on the AWT.
