Tampa Bay has four stakes races–topped by the Sam F. Davis Stakes (Grade 3) which is a points qualifying race for the Kentucky Derby. It is the 11th race with scheduled post of 5:02 p.m.
RadioStPete online will have track announcer Richard Grunder’s live calls on all four stakes. Bob Bauer, HRFLA handicapper and associate editor, will introduce the stakes races and provide post race analysis.
Gulfstream’s stakes are:
*6th race — $100,000 Ladies Turf Sprint, 5 furlongs turf, fillies and mares 4-YO and up
*11th race — $100,000 Suwanee River, 1 1/8 miles turf, fillies and mares, 4-YO and up
