Gulfstream Park is starting 2021 with eleven races, including three stakes.
The Friday New Year’s Day card has a first post of 12:05 p.m.
The carryover on the Rainbow 6 is $503,603. The 20 cents per combination-only bet is on races six through eleven, with the sequence scheduled to start at 2:38 p.m.
Gulfstream has guaranteed that the Rainbow 6 pool will be at least $900,000 if there is just one ticket wth the winners of all six races.
The three stakes races are:
*9th race: 4:11 p.m. — $75,000 Janus, five furlongs, turf, 4-YO and up
*10th race: 4:42 p.m.– $75,000 Cash Run, one mile dirt, 3-YO fillies
*11th race: 5:13 p.m. — $75,000 Abundantia, five furlongs, fillies and mares 4-YO and up
