The dirt track is listed as Fast and the turf is listed as Good at the Hallandale Beach, Fla., track.
The second, third, fifth, seventh, ninth and tenth races are scheduled for turf. It is almost certain that those races will stay on that surface, because the Weather Channel forecast s for just a ten percent rain chance during racing hours.
The Rainbow 6 has a carryover of $158,705. The 20 cents per combination-only bet is on races five to ten with the sequence scheduled to start a 2:38 p,m.
On Saturday, Gulfstream will have twelve races with first post at11:45 a.m.
The card has four Sunshine Stake races, all with $75,000 purses and restricted to Florida-breds 4-years-old and up.
Those races are:
8th — Sunshine Filly& Mare Turf, 1 1/16 miles
9th — Sunshine Classic, 1 1/8 miles on dirt
10th — Sunshine Sprint, 6 furlongs dirt
11th — Sunshine Millions Turf, 1 1/16 miles
