The Florida-connected Swiss Skydiver will undoubtedly be the favorite this Saturday, in the $500,000 Alabama Stakes  (Grade 1) for three-year-old fillies at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

The Alabama is 1 1/4 miles on dirt and has a field of seven.

It is today’s 9th race with a scheduled post of 5:43 p.m.

That as the first of her three straight graded stakes wins–which have made her the leader in qualifying points for the Kentucky Oaks (Grade 1) on Sept. 4 at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky.

Swiss Skydiver is owned by Peter Callahan, who lives in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and s trained by Ken McPeek.  Tyler Gaffalione has the mount in the Alabama.
