Gulfstream Sunday: Two Stakes Races on Turf; Rainbow 6 Carryover is $122,747

Gulfstream Park has an eleven-race card on Sunday with first post of  12:00 p.m.

The   Rainbow 6 has a carryover of $122,747.  The 20 cents per combination-only bet  is on races six to eleven, with the sequence scheduled to start at  approximately 2:30 p.m


On Saturday there were 123 tickets with all   six Rainbow 6 race winners.  Each was aid $999.94 on a 20 cent bet.

Bettors added $220,368 to the Rainbow 6 pool. Of that Gulfstream took out 20 percent, divided 56 percent among tickets with six winners and added 24 percent to the carryover.

There are two stakes races on the card.


The $75,000 Bob Umphrey Turf Sprint is five furlongs on turf for 3-year-olds and up. It is the tenth race with scheduled post of 4:30 p.m.


The $60,000 In the Breeze is one mile on turf for fillies and mares 3-YO and up. It is the eighth race with scheduled post of 3:30 p.m.

The winners were:

*Double Crown in the $75,000 Carry Back, at seven furlongs on dirt for 3-year-olds


*Boerne in the $75,000 Azalea, at seven furlongs on dirt for 3-YO fillies
