Gulfstream Off the Turf for Thursday

Gulfstream Park will have four straight days of racing from Thursday (today) through Sunday–and it is off to a wet start.

Rain has been falling since early afternoon, and Gulfstream has moved races four, six, seven, nine and eleven from the turf to the dirt track that is listed as sloppy.

There are no  stakes races on the card.

The big attraction is a Rainbow 6 carryover of $424,272–which appears to be Gulfstream’s largest ever built up for that bet over just four race days .

The 20 cents per combination only bet is on races six to eleven with the sequence scheduled to start at 3:45 p.m.

Gulfstream is again racing with no spectators on site, and thus will not have any on-track betting. It is doing that as part of its compliance with government guidances on limiting the number of persons at public events during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
