6 —  Elate  has won at  1 1/4 miles  three times and has beaten the boys.  Mott trainee has been working well, and we look for her to get  a  good trip..

8 — McKinzie, trained by  Baffert,  has been ultra-consistent on both coasts.

10 — Vino  Rosso won this year’s Gold Cup at  Santa  Anita, and comes west  again for Pletcher.

7 —  Higher Power won the Pacific  Classic atDel Mar and is  on upswing for Sadler, who trained last year’s BC Classic winner  Accelerate.

11  — Code of Honor, trained by McGaughey, is this season’s best  3-YO and has a win at  1 1/4 miles in Travers.

2 —  Seeking the Soul is coming off two  down efforts, but before that had  Grade 1  breakthrough  win in Stephen Foster  at  Churchill.  Trainer Dallas Stewart has a knack  for hitting the board with longshots  in big races.
