Gulfstream Park plans 12 races Monday, which is President’s Day observed and a Federal Holiday in the U.S.A.
The action gets started at 12:00 PM.
Eleven stakes races are on the card, with $50,000 and $60,000 purses for the stakes races.
In Sunday’s racing action, 103 starters entered the gate chasing $375,000 in purse money, with 8 favorites winning in the 12 races.
That led to some muted payoffs on the Late Pick 4 and Pick 5 wagers: $17.55 and $74.05 respectively.
Track conditions were clear and firm and all winners were 5:1 or lower except the 25:1 winner Oscura winning race 7 by a head over the favorite Necessary. Fifty-Nine starters ran in the final 6 races.
The Rainbow 6 wager paid $1,386 to 65 bettors.
All sources handle came in at $10.33 million. Monday’s carryover will be $73,894 on the Rainbow 6, as it enters its 60th race day of this Winters Championship Meet. Race 7 starts the Rainbow 6 wager at approx. 3:02 PM.
