Gulfstream’s Thursday Racing; 12:35 PM – Carryovers

Gulfstream Park will host a 10-race card Thursday with a first post of 12:35 PM at its Hallandale Beach, Florida venue.
In Wednesday’s action, 59 starters ran for $355,000 in purse money under clear/firm track conditions.

Three favorites entered the winners circle, while two others garnered a PLACE. It was ho-hum odds-wise until the 7th race, where Chatiment (20:1) bested the favorite The Scottsman (1.8:1) to win the 1-1/16 mile dirt contest.
That win led to some nice payouts for the Pick 4,5 and Rainbow 6, as race 7 was including in those late races.
Pick-4 paid $607.50
Pick-5 paid $1,590.90
Rainbow 6 paid $8,118. The post numbers were: 4-3-1-1-4-10.

The $1 Super Hi-5 paid a monster $12,881 in race 7, the highest we’ve seen in awhile.

The first race today plans 7 starters, and will qualify for the Super Hi-5 wager barring any scratches, with a carryover of $3,156.
The Rainbow 6 carryover is $141,357. It is on races six  through ten, with the sequence scheduled to start at 2:33 p.m.
