In Friday’s action, 9 races were ran under clear-firm conditions. 78 horses started, including 53 in the Rainbow 6 (last 6 races).
The high-odds winner on the day was 4.6:1 in race 6. Six of nine races were won by the odds favorite. The smallish payouts on the late races resulted in no carryovers, sans the Rainbow.
The late Pick-4 paid $257, while the late Pick-5 paid $922.30. That was just 69 less than the $991 paid on 6 of 6 in the Rainbow-6. The super-high 5 paid $991 also, on the $1 minimum wager. The Rainbow pool was $42,555 and the carryover for Saturday will be $90,222. An estimated 24 tickets collected on the Rainbow 6 wager.
Total handle came in at $3,713,627.
