Gulfstream Park plans to run 10 horse races Sunday, starting at 1:15 PM ET.
Race 10 will go off at about 6:00 PM, if you want to plan your day around that. 5 races are scheduled for the turf track, (#2,4,6,8,10). There are no stakes races today.
Saturday’s action saw 12 races, with many favorites, or near favorites as the winners. The only real standout was the Bear’s Den Stakes winner Rennaisance Frolic at 16:1 beating Gemonteer, the favorite by one length. That win no doubt knocked a few out of the late Pick-5 and Rainbow 6 wagers – thus the nice payouts: $7,953 to the Rainbow winners, and $4,293 to the Pick 5 winners.
We estimate 5 Pick-6 winners Saturday given the pool of $71,014. The 135 scheduled starters Saturday was reduced to 118 with the scratches subtracted.
Sunday’s card is set to include 101 starters, with the Rainbow 6 commencing near 3:20 PM. The carryover grows to $57,435, the only carryover on the day.
