GP Resumes Thursday With $56,946 Carryover; Two Stakes Races Each on Friday and Saturday

Gulfstream Park is dark for live racing this Tuesday and Wednesday.

It will have live racing this Thursday through Sunday—its regular summer meet race days. There will be two stakes races on Saturday and two stakes races on Sunday.

Here is the schedule:
*Thursday  Sept. 6—Nine races with first post of 2:00 p.m.

The first race has a Super Hi-5 carryover of $2,243.

On the Rainbow 6, the carryover is $56,946. It is on races three to nine, with the sequence set to start at 3:30 p.m.

*Friday, Sept. 7 – Nine races, with first post of 2:00 p.m.

The card has two stakes races—a rarity for Gulfstream during its summer meet.

The fifth race is The Vid, at 1 1/16 miles on turf for 3-year-olds and up.

The eighth race is the Mo Exception, at one mile on dirt for 3-year-olds and up.

*Saturday, Sept. 8 – 12 races with first post of 12:45 p.m.

The fifth race is the $75,000 Trinniberg  Stakes at six furlongs on dirt for 3-year-olds and up.

The 11th race is the $100,000 Sheer Drama at seven furlongs on dirt for Florida-bred fillies and mares 3-year-olds and up.

*Sunday – Entries will be out on Thursday afternoon. The Condition Book shows no stakes races on the card.

Gulfstream’s Silks simulcast center on the first floor is open seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. until approximately 11:00 p.m.
