Gulfstream’s Sunday card will have 12 races with a first post time of 12:45 PM. No stakes races are scheduled.
Saturday’s action included the two Sire Stakes races, which our editor Jim Freer will cover in a separate post.
The multi-race wagers paid decent amounts for two reasons. The field sizes were HUGE. The 138 starters was the highest we’ve seen in three years, topping the Florida Derby by 2 horses this year!
The Rainbow 6 paid $4,504 with 68 starters to wager on. Nine tickets were winners here.
Sunday’s jackpot will be a smallish $17,373, as we start day 2 of this jackpot cycle. The late pick 4, pick 5 and Super Hi-5 have no carryovers.
