There was just one winning ticket on the Rainbow 6 at Gulfstream Park on Thursday, and it paid $86,193.66 on the 20 cent only bet.
The winning horses’ program numbers in the last six races were 8-5-9-5-9-3.
There was only one favorite among the six winners. Three winners were 7-1 or higher.
Thursday’s carryover going in was $36,964. On Friday bettors added $61,564 to the pool.
The winning ticket took down the entire carryover plus 80 percent of the day’s new Rainbow 6 bets (20 percent takeout).
On days with multiple Rainbow 6 winning tickets, Gulfstream takes out 20 percent of the day’s Rainbow 6 bet. It distributes 56 percent among tickets with the most winners and adds 24 percent to the carryover.
