Handicapper Bob Bauer Nails the Kentucky Derby

Horse Racing FLA’s handicapper and associate editor Bob Bauer correctly handicapped the Kentucky Derby race Saturday at Churchill Downs. Race 12 was run approximately at 6:52 PM ET amid rain and
a  track listed at Sloppy-Sealed.

Bob and editor Jim Freer posted their Derby Picks about an hour before the race.
Bob’s selections for Win – Place – Show were JUSTIFY (7), AUDIBLE (5), and GOOD MAGIC (6).
See this link for our story posted at that time: https://www.horseracingfla.com/2018/05/kentucky-derby-picks.html

The running order of finish was: 7 – 6 – 5. Granted, the place and show positions were reversed; BUT…
any wagers involving boxed exacta and trifecta’s would have paid handsomely.
For seasoned bettors of the Derby, you know that – beyond the odds-favorite – it is very hard to get the place and show bets correct in a field of 20 starters.

Again, congratulations to Bob Bauer for his excellent work on the Derby race.
He will be closing the handicapping today at Tampa Bay Down’s as their season ends.
