As of 11:50 a.m. the dirt track is listed as fast and the turf course is listed as firm.
But light rain fell intermittently at Gulfstream during the morning, and the Weather Channel forecast for Hallandale Beach is for the chance of thunderstorms to increase from 15 percent to 65 percent during racing hours.
