Research by HorseRacingFLA shows that Gulfstream Park had daily average all-sources handle of just under $10.6 million during its 2017-2018 championship meet.
That set a record for any race meet during Gulfstream’s 79-year history.
Gulfstream’s previous record was $10.0 million, set during its 2016-2017 championship meet.
The Hallandale Beach, Fla., track ended its 88-day championship meet on Sunday April 1. We calculated handle numbers for the meet through a review of Equibase charts.
