The Florida thoroughbred racing week will begin on Wednesday with a nine-race card at Tampa Bay Downs.
First post is 12:35 p.m. There are no carryovers.
Tampa Bay will be dark on Thursday. It will then have racing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are no stakes races scheduled for any of those days.
*Gulfstream Park is dark on Wednesday, and will resume racing on Thursday.
First post will be 1:10 p.m. for a nine-race Thursday card.
The carryover on the Rainbow 6 will be $572,287. It will be on races four to nine with the sequence scheduled to start at 2:49 p.m.
Gulfstream also will have racing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with at least one stakes race each day.
Friday April 27 — $75,000 Cedar Key, 5 furlongs on turf for 3-YO fillies
Saturday April 28 – $75,000 Miesque’s Approval, 1 1/16 miles on turf for 3-YOs and up
Saturday April 28 — $75,000 Powder Break, one mile on turf for fillies and mares 3-YO and up
Sunday April 29 — $75,000 Loggerhead Key, five furlongs on turf for 3-YO
