Saturday at Gulfstream: Three Late Guarantees; Holy Bull and Four Other Graded Stakes

Gulfstream Park on Saturday will have guaranteed pools on its three major late multi-race bets—Rainbow 6, Late Pick 5 and Late Pick 4.

Gulfstream also will join Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif., and Aqueduct in Ozone Park, N.Y., for a Cross Country Pick 4.
The $350,000 Holy Bull Stakes (Grade 2) for 3-year-olds  will be the last race in all four of those  bets. It  is the 12^th and last race  on Gulfstream’s card, and has a scheduled post of 5:49 p.m.

Guaranteed Pools at Gulfstream: If betting  does not reach a guarantee, Gulfstream will make up the difference.
*Rainbow 6 (Races 7 to 12) — $200,000 guarantee; the carryover coming in will be $84,284 making it almost certain that the guarantee will be reached.

*Late Pick 5 (Races 8 to 12) — $250,000 guarantee

*Late Pick 4 (Races 9 to 12) — $500,000 guarantee

 Cross Country Pick 4

*First leg – post time 5:05 p.m. Eastern, 9^th race at Aqueduct  maiden claiming

*Second leg – 11^th race at Gulfstream, Dania Beach (Grade 3) at one mile on turf for 3-year-olds

*Third leg – 5^th race at Santa Anita, Robert B. Lewis (Grade 3), 1 1/16 miles on dirt, 3-year-olds

*Fourth leg – Holy Bull (Grade 3) at 1 1/16 miles on dirt for 3-YO

The minimum bet for the multi-track, multi-race wager will be 50 cents. Wagering on the Cross Country Pick 4 is available on-track and at simulcast facilities across the country.

The Holy Bull and the Robert Lewis are first-round  point scoring races for the Kentucky Derby, which will be run May 5 at Churchill Downs in Louisville,  Ky. Points in the two Saturday races are 10, 4, 2 and 1 for first through fourth place respectively.

The Gulfstream stakes  races are:

*$200,000 Swale (Grade 3)—seven furlongs on dirt, 3-YO, 4^th race with  scheduled post of 1:30 p.m.

*$100,000 Sweetest Chant—one mile turf, 3-YO fillies, 6^th race with scheduled post  of 2:30 p.m.

* $200,000 Forward Gal (Grade 3)—seven furlongs dirt for 3-YO fillies, 10^th race with scheduled post of 4:43 p.m.

*$100,000 Dania Beach  (Grade 3)—one mile turf, 3-YO, 11^th race with scheduled post at 5:16 p.m.

*$350,000 Holy Bull  (Grade 2) – 1 1/16 miles on dirt for 3-YOs; scheduled post is 5:49 p.m.
