Racing has been taken off the turf on Wednesday at Gulfstream Park and at Tampa Bay Downs.
Those surface switches follow a Tuesday when both tracks were dark, and when rain was heavy in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area and in the Tampa Bay area.
At Tampa Bay today, the dirt track is listed as good for a ten-race card that has first post of 12:25 p.m.
At Gulfstream, the dirt track is listed as sloppy for a ten-race card that has first post of 12:35 p.m.
The day’s main attraction is Gufstream’s Rainbow 6 carryover that has grown to $828,291. It will be on races five through to ten.
We will have coverage of both tracks, including lists of scratches, on our blog which may be accessed on the menu bar at the top of the home page of this Web site.
