Big Friday Carryovers at Both Florida Tracks; Handicapping by Our Staff is on Our Blog

HorseRacingFLA Staff Report

It is Friday morning on a day with a big late multi-race carryover at each Florida track, and HorseRacingFLA will provide handicapping and race reports.

Look for this coverage beginning at  approximately  1:00 p.m. Eastern on our blog which can be accessed on the menu bar at the top of the home page of this Web site.

Racing at Tampa Bay Downs

Tampa Bay Downs has a carryover of $34,138 on its Late Pick 5.  It is on races six through ten, with the sequence scheduled to start at 2:51 p.m. Bob Bauer, our associate editor for Tampa Bay, will handicap the  five races.

Gulfstream Park has a carryover that has grown to  $219,934 on its Rainbow 6. It is on races five through ten, with the sequence set to start at 2:35 p.m. Our editor Jim Freer will handicap  the six races.

It is likely that more than $100,000 will be bet on the Late Pick 5 at Tampa Bay and that as much as $200,000 will be bet on the Rainbow 6  at Gulfstream.  Both amounts would be well above averages for weekdays.

At Tampa Bay, first post is 12:25 p.m. for a ten-race card.

At Gulfstream, first post is 12:35 p.m. for a ten-race card.

Conditions are Fast and Firm and clear skies are forecast at both tracks.
