Saturday Preview:  Miami Mile at  Gulfstream;  Carryover of $14,859 on Pick 5 at Tampa Bay

Gulfstream Park has a pair of $100,000 stakes races on its Saturday card, and a $50,000 guarantee on  its new  Rainbow  6 pool.

The stakes are the Miami Mile (Grade 3) on turf for 3-year-olds and up and the Powder Break at one mile on turf for  fillies  and mares 3-years-old and up. Those races are the fifth and tenth.

First post is 1:15 p.m. for the 11-race card.

Gulfstream has a $50,000 guarantee on its new Rainbow 6 pool, on races six to  eleven.  There is no carryover because on both Thursday and Friday there was just one ticket with the  winners of all six  Rainbow 6  races.

The Jackpot payoffs on the 20-cent only bet were $180,853 on Thursday, with a seven-day carryover, and $24,208 on Friday.

Tampa Bay Downs has nine Saturday races, with first post of 12:50 p.m.

One betting attraction is a $14,859 carryover on the Pick 5, on races five through nine.  It is a 50-cent minimum bet.
