Tampa Bay Downs will resume racing on Wednesday with nine races and first post at 12:25 p.m.

Tampa Bay will be dark on Thursday. It will have racing Friday through Sunday, with first post at 12:25 p.m.
The Oldsmar track will add racing on three Thursdays this month—Feb. 9, Feb. 16 and Feb. 23.
Wednesday will be the 34th day of Tampa Bay’s 2016-2017 meet.
Through Sunday, Daniel Centeno leads jockeys with 45 wins. Ronald Allen Jr. is second with 32 victories.
Others in the top five are: Pablo Morales, 28; Edwin Gonzalez, 26; and Fernando De La Cruz, 23.
Jamie Ness continues to gain on defending champion Gerald Bennett.
Bennett has 21 wins, followed by Ness with 16. Kathleen O’Connell is third with 13 wins.
Dennis Ward and Tom Proctor each have ten victories and are tied for fourth place. Proctor’s victories have come in just 20 starts.
Jagger Inc., owned by Ness and his wife Mandy, lead owners with 12 victories.
Ridenjac Racing, owned by Ward, is second with six wins.
