Here are highlights of what’s happening, in racing and in entertainment, at Gulfstream Park on Sunday July 3 and Monday July 4.
Sunday, July 3
First post is 1:15 p.m. for an 11-race card.
The featured sixth race is the $75,000 Barely Even at one mile on dirt for fillies and mares 3-years-old and up that have never won a stakes race on dirt.
There will be a new pool in the Rainbow 6, on races six to eleven.
The jackpot/carryover was hit on Sunday when there was just one ticket with the winning horses in all of the Rainbow 6 races.
It paid $66,050.56 on the 20-cent only bet. There was no immediate information on where the ticket was purchased or how many 20-cent combinations were on it.

The feature eighth race is the $75,000 Betsy Ross at 7 ½ furlongs on turf for 3-year-old fillies.
There will be $2 hot dogs, hamburgers, beer and wine, 1-5 p.m. at the Corona Beach House.
