Gulfstream Park and Tampa Bay Downs will have their regular live racing schedules this week.
Gulfstream, in Hallandale Beach, will have racing Wednesday through Sunday with daily first post of 12:55 p.m.
Tampa Bay Downs, in Oldsmar, will have racing on Wednesday and then on Friday through Sunday. First post time varies between 12:40 p.m. and 12:50 p.m. Please check our blog each racing morning for updates.
The week’s only two stakes races in Florida are at Gulfstream on Saturday.
The $100,000 Miami Mile (Grade 3) is at that distance on turf for 3-year-olds and up. The $100,000 Powder Break is one mile on turf for fillies and mares 3-years-old and up.

Gulfstream will have racing on Wednesdays through Sundays until June 12. It will have racing on Thursdays through Sundays for the remainder of its Spring Meet that ends June 30 and on those days during its three-month Summer Meet that ends on October 2.
In October and November, Gulfstream will have its 40-day Gulfstream Park West Meet at Calder Casino & Race Course—with racing on Wednesdays through Sundays.
On Dec. 3 Gulfstream will open its 2016-2017 championship meet at its track in Hallandale Beach.
In addition to live racing, Gulfstream has:
* Simulcast wagering — seven days a week with more than 30 thoroughbred and harness tracks; open for simulcasting from 11 a.m. until approximately 11 p.m.
* Casino — the two casino rooms are open from 9 a.m. to 3 a.m. on Sundays through Thursdays and 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays
* Poker — 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. on Sundays through Thursdays, and 24 hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

Tampa Bay Downs will have four-day race weeks for the remainder of its meet that will extend through May 8. Race days will be Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
It will have its annual two-day Summer Festival of Racing on June 30-July 1. It will then be dark until Nov. 26, when it begins its 2016-2017 meet.
On days when it does not have live racing, Tampa Bay Downs is open for simulcasting and its poker room and golf range are open their regular hours.

The Downs Golf Practice Facility hours of operation:
Pro Shop: 8:30 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. daily (Last bucket sold at 7:45 p.m.)
