Wednesday, Aug. 5  – Tampa Bay Downs re-opened this morning for poker and in-bound simulcasting, after being closed Monday and Tuesday due to inclement weather.

On its Web site, the Oldsmar track said that the Horsemen’s Lot and West Parking Lot are closed,  It suggested that patrons use the Clubhouse lot and avoid the golf course entrance.
When Tampa Bay Downs does not have live racing, it is open daily for poker and simulcasting.  Hours of operation and other details may be found on its Web site.

“We appreciate the patience of our patrons during the past two days,” said Peter Berube, Tampa Bay Downs vice president and general manger. “While the water is still far above normal levels in several areas, including the parking lots, barn area and infield, we are fortunate that both track surfaces and the main building have not been damaged.”

Live racing will resume at Tampa Bay Downs on Nov. 28 for the 2015-2016 meet that will extend through next May 8.
