The Gulfstream Park West meet, at Calder Casino in Miami Gardens, will have its only Monday race card of the year this afternoon. First post time is 1:15 p.m. for the Columbus Day card with ten races.
This Wednesday, the GP West meet will begin its regular Wednesday through Sunday schedule. Gulfstream Park is holding the GP West meet at Calder under a lease agreement with Calder. The meet will extend through Nov. 29.
Daily first post is 1:15 p.m. during October and 12:45 p.m. during November.
The Gulfstream Park West (GP West) condition book shows no stakes races scheduled for the upcoming Oct. 17-Oct. 18 weekend.
Gulfstream in Hallandale Beach is open daily for simulcasting, including the Gulfstream Park West races, during the GP West meet.
Tampa Bay Downs in Oldsmar is in the midst of physical and operational preparations for its opening day on Nov. 28.
